Andrew Gochis
Founder of the Lonestar Coaches Network and director of the Lonestar Coaches Clinic and the One Back Offensive Clinic.
Andrew Gochis is a Texas teacher and football coach from Fort Worth, and the founder of the Lonestar Coaches Network. The network connects Texas coaches through summer clinics, a year-round film library and a community of more than a thousand coaches.
Andrew founded the One Back Offensive Clinic in 2024 with co-founders John Bronkhorst, Josh Christian and Edgar Vazquez after a clinic left Texas. He now also runs the Lonestar Coaches Clinic, the largest and longest-running football coaching clinic in Texas, and the two clinics share one weekend at the Waco Convention Center.
Coaching
Andrew is in his 10th season of coaching. He has served as associate head coach at Burleson High School, coaching quarterbacks and a sub-varsity offense. He started with five years in the Baylor football program and has coached at Troy and Carter-Riverside high schools. He is a Baylor University graduate.
Building for coaches
Beyond the clinics, Andrew built Coaching Openings, a job board for coaches, and Game Openings, which helps programs fill open dates on their schedules. Every one of them started with a problem he ran into on the sideline.
